Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD$) and include GST. Rates are based on 1 or 2 persons sharing a room

For New Zealand long weekends / public holidays, there is a 3 night minimum booking.
Unfortunately we are unable to cater for children. We are a working farm on very steep landscape leading directly to the sea. Electric fences, cattle and sheep are additional, potential hazards for young adventurers.
Tunapo Escape is located on our working farm, we are animal lovers but we can’t have even your best behaved pets among our guests, due to their health and safety, and that of our stock.
Number of Occupants
Your booking at Tunapo Escape is only for the guests confirmed at time of booking. No functions, parties are allowed without prior consent. No guest visitors are allowed. If visitors are found to be present, we reserve the right to evict all guests immediately (and no refund will be provided)
Arrival and departure times
Check-in time is between 3pm and 4pm as we will meet you to drive you onsite. Guests arriving outside of this time may only check-in by pre-arrangement. Check-out time is by 11 am.
The property must be completely vacated by check-out time. Failure to comply will incur a surcharge. You may request an early check-in or late check-out. We do our best to honour such requests.
No Smoking Policy
Guests agree not to smoke inside the property. A breach of this policy will result in a NZD$500 cleaning fee.
We have taken great care to build robust fixtures and to provide a comfortable environment.
Damage beyond the superficial to any of these fixtures and/or furniture will be charged to the client. Items include the bed, shower, chairs, kitchen-bench, bath and outdoor furniture.
Tunapo Escape will not be liable for any loss of personal property of the guest.
Tunapo Escape is not responsible for medical problems encountered before, during or after the guest’s stay.
Tunapo Escape is not responsible should the guest adventure off the main tracks or at night
Should any dispute arise, such dispute will be governed by the laws of New Zealand.
You, the guest, indemnify the agency against any liability which may attach to the agency as a result of damage, injury or loss being personal or proprietary suffered by any person where damage, injury or loss has been contributed to or caused by any act or occasion of the tenant or his/her visitor.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions when required at our discretion.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation within 90 days of arrival date: 25% of the total booking price will be charged.
Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 50% of the total booking price will be charged.
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% of the total booking price will be charged.
Credit Card details supplied will be used to charge any cancellation fees.
If we are able to replace your booking, this fee may be waived. A refund will incur $5 fee to process.
Tunapoescape reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time due to adverse weather conditions. In this case, a full refund will be given.
